Tech High School Auditorium Renovation
Hom+Goldman
renovated the 3000 seat Auditorium/Theater in this historic NYC technical high
school. The auditorium is one of the highest capacity theater spaces in NYC [including
all the Broadway theaters]! This one room is designed to contain the entire occupancy
of the school. Restoration included finding a foundry that could reproduce the
intricate seat railings and cast metal end sections at each of the rows. This
room includes an orchestra, mezzanine and balcony. |
