Dartmouth
College Rockefeller Center for Social Sciences, Hanover, NH
This is a $40 million 20,000 SF new atrium
building for the Social Sciences College. The Great Space was
designed as a college 'mixing' area for multiple disciplines.
Areas include an amphitheater seating classroom, lecture halls,
faculty offices and meeting rooms. The building exterior was
designed to complement the historic Dartmouth campus, with a
replicated facade facing the town green and more contemporary
interiors. The high entry portal also serves as an entry to
the main campus from the residential campus. The theater has
served as the locale for the US Presidential Debates.
