Athletic League Harlem Community Center
This Center received the NYC Fine Arts
Award for Design Excellence at City Hall. The Center is
designed around a central double height Atrium that provides
continual orientation within the building, as well as affording
an impressive meeting space in the heart of the building and
an ideal location for PAL's changing exhibits for the community.
The facility includes a full-size gymnasium with full court
basketball and stage, a cafeteria with seating for 200, fitness
rooms, a performance space, a boxing ring, an educational resource
center/library, classrooms, meeting rooms, full lockers, counseling
rooms and offices.
